According to the report reaching us, the institution was shut due to the protest of the students which took place yesterday.
According to some of the student the protest was stage due to th insensitivity of the managment.
The student complain about the the banning of of electric cooker and their inability to obtain their school I’d card which will be use for the exam which was expected to commence this week.
But the university’s Director of Communications
and Publication, Olatunji Oladejo, told NAN that
the closure became necessary in other to avert
crisis.
He said that the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Idowu
Olayinka, had convened an emergency meeting
of the university Senate to review the
circumstances surrounding the development.
All undergraduates are expected to resume on the 17of July.
The exam was shifted from this week to till July 2017
